After two years of absence, the Pastaviron is back!

Saturday, November 5 from 5 p.m. at the Lachine Curling Club

All proceeds will go to the competitive team which will send an athlete to the National Rowing Championships from November 10 to 13 in North Cowichan, BC.

Un ou d’une entraîneur.e pour encadrer les cours d’initiation et apprendre à tous la base de l’aviron. Une expérience en aviron est requise pour ce poste.
4 moniteurs ou monitrices de camp de jour. Une expérience en aviron est requise pour ces postes.
Une équipe de 8 à 10 préposé.e.s aux membres.
Nous offrons des horaires flexibles, un bel environnement de travail, un salaire concurrentiel. Le salaire de l’entraîneur sera établi en fonction de l’expérience.
Bilinguisme français/anglais est un atout certain

A coach to supervise the initiation lessons and teach the basics of rowing. Rowing experience is required for this position.
4 day camp instructors. Rowing experience is required for these positions.
A team of 8 to 10 attendants.
We offer flexible hours, a great work environment, a competitive salary. Coach’s salary will be based on experience.

Introduction to rowing at the rowing tank of Parc Jean-Drapeau

 

The Lachine Rowing Club received a grant from Sport et loisirs de l’île de Montréal to introduce high school students and citizens to rowing. No rowing experience is required.

For $35, students aged 13 to 19 are invited to participate in five two-hour sessions at Parc Jean Drapeau. The price is $55 for adults.

Each session includes one hour in the rowing tub and one hour on ergometers (rowing machine).

In June (date to be determined), participants will be invited to try rowing on Lake Saint-Louis at the Aviron Lachine club!

– The age groups are loose, what is important is being interested in learning to row

-Simplyk (the system we use to process payments) will ask for a voluntary contribution, you can give any amount you wish.

 

Indoor Rowing Championship

Aviron Rowing Lachine is proud to virtually host this year’s Québec Indoor Rowing Championships on January 23rd 2022.

This event is aimed at the Québec Rowing community at large and the general public that are interested in a mid-winter indoor rowing challenge.

Due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, this race will be virtual. Please consult the instructions for connecting virtually to the race. Official Invitation.

The U13, U15 and masters (mens and women’s events) will be 1000m and the U17, U23 and Senior events will be 2000m. There will also be a team relay event with four rowers rowing a total of 2000m.
